The ST-5255 is a 5-bay hot-swap frame for 2.5" or 3.5" hard drives, designed to fit into three 5.25" bays. It supports speeds of up to 6 Gb/s and offers the possibility of a RAID configuration for the installed hard drives (RAID controller required).
The connection of the hard drives is made via five individual S-ATA cables (not included), with power supplied through two 4-pin Molex connectors. An integrated 80 mm fan also ensures optimal cooling for the installed hard drives.
