Product details
The Intel 545s Series SSDs are high-performance storage devices designed for home users. Developed for ultrabooks, notebooks, and desktop PCs, the 545s Series offers reliable and powerful storage options. With 64 layers of 3D NAND TLC memory, it provides higher data transfer rates and reduced latency while maintaining nearly identical power consumption compared to its predecessor, the 540s. M.2 SSDs are installed via the M.2 socket on the motherboard. This SSD uses SATA III for data transfer, making its compact size a significant advantage. M.2 SSDs are particularly suitable for use in ultrabooks and mini-PCs due to their small dimensions, but they can also be used in standard computers. The benefits over traditional hard drives include significantly shorter access times, lower energy consumption, and greatly increased shock resistance. This means your operating system boots faster, generates less heat, and your data remains intact even during larger shocks. Another advantage is the very high lifespan, ensuring that your data is preserved for a long time.
