IK Multimedia Z-Tone DI Box

The IK Multimedia Z-Tone DI box offers a range of control options for advanced sound shaping and routing potential. The DI box can be used for routing long cables across the stage or recording DI tracks in the studio without sacrificing quality. This is achieved with a dynamic range of 114 dB(A) and an extended frequency response of 3 Hz to 30 kHz (+/- 1 dB). A number of controls allow you to tailor the sound to a range of genres and playing styles. These include a pickup selector switch (passive/active) and a switchable preamp circuit; so you can make extremely transparent sound recordings. Or use the Class A JFET input buffer to add warmth to the input signal. The impedance control lets you dial in impedance from 1 MOhm to 2.2 kOhm for further sound adjustments. At maximum impedance, you get a tighter, more precise character; at minimum impedance, you get a thicker, more powerful sound. Z-Tone DI functions can be accessed through the various routing options. Choose between a balanced XLR output, an unbalanced 6.3mm output, and an unaffected Hi-Z Link output to route your signal as desired.
