The entry-level color MFP of HP's enterprise class offers speeds of up to 28 pages per minute and top-notch security. This printer utilizes dynamic security features that can be updated periodically through firmware updates. The printer is designed exclusively for use with cartridges that have an original HP chip. Cartridges with a chip from another supplier may not work or may no longer work in this printer.
HP is the number one printer manufacturer in Switzerland, based on shipments from Q1 2022 to Q2 2023 in the IDC Quarterly Hardcopy Peripherals Tracker, 2023 Q2 Release. This includes shipments of all printing devices, including inkjet printers, inkjet multifunction printers, laser printers, laser multifunction printers, and copiers.
Some HP printers are designed for use only with print cartridges that contain new or reused chips or electronic circuits from HP. These printers employ dynamic security measures to block print cartridges with a chip or electronic circuit not originating from HP. Regular firmware updates maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked. Reused HP chips and electronic circuits from HP allow for the use of reused, remanufactured, and refilled cartridges.

With very good print quality and features, but quite high page prices and a lack of WLAN, the HP colour laser all-in-one came a good, but close, third in the test field.
