The Hoya HMC UV(0) are professional UV filters with exceptionally high transmission and perfect color balance. They offer increased durability due to the hardened glass. UV filters cut out unwanted ultraviolet rays, reduce haze, and enhance clarity. Additionally, the UV filter serves very well as protective glass for the lens. With 12 layers of coating, they provide a transmission of 99.7%. The reinforced glass is 40% lighter than conventional filters, and the 3 mm filter frame is well-suited for wide-angle shots with front threads.
