It can do a lot – while weighing very little! The HOHNER XS was designed for children aged 4 to 7 years. That's why it is 60% lighter than regular accordions and offers the following range: treble b – g” as well as 3 bass rows: F.

Simply shrinking an accordion to child size isn't enough; that's why we developed the HOHNER XS with the support of scientific, music educational, and design expertise. The benefits include easy strapping with the Click 'n' Play carrying system and a fingerboard at an ergonomically adapted angle.

Always properly adjusted. Whether a child is playing it or an adult is demonstrating something: the HOHNER XS is always properly adjusted thanks to the adjustable hand strap. For adults, there is also a second strap system to ensure the accordion fits perfectly.
