Hifonics Brutus BRX6.2C 16.5 cm 2 way component system FLAT

Shallow mounting depths for speakers are becoming increasingly important for many applications, but often flat speakers sound quite thin due to limited bass excursion, resulting in a musical compromise. With the newly developed BRUTUS BRX series, HiFonics has managed to change this. Even the 2-way system BRX6.2C, with a nominal size of 16.5 cm and a mounting depth of just 42 mm, fits into almost any opening and impresses particularly with its excellent bass performance. This is primarily due to the completely newly developed carbon fiber diaphragm, which is extremely stable yet very lightweight – a must, especially for flat speakers. A cable crossover relieves the 20 mm textile neodymium tweeter from low frequencies. Thanks to the compact design of the crossover, installation is also straightforward.
