With Sentivus OFC speaker cables, you can be confident that the cables consist of 99.99% OFC copper, exhibit excellent conductivity and transmission properties, and have been processed in Germany according to high quality standards. The OFC copper conductors impress with high flexibility and low resistance. The major advantages of pure OFC cables (oxygen-free copper) are their outstanding electrical properties and low resistance. Speaker cables are often referred to as "pure" copper cables, even though they only have a very thin copper coating. This mainly applies to what is known as "CCA copper" (aluminum core with a thin copper layer) or "CCS copper" (steel cable with a thin copper layer). These cables have significantly poorer transmission properties than OFC cables.
