Gutek Tortoise, T-230

The Tortoise series from Gutek are robust, durable and lightweight hard cases. Designed for filmmakers, photographers, creatives and explorers, the T-230 protects valuable equipment wherever the next adventure takes place. Whether in the desert, at sea, in the jungle or simply on the road, the T-230 offers maximum protection.

Gutek's DNA is rooted in Nanlite's many years of experience. Inspired by the natural strength of a turtle's shell, the T-230 was developed. The structural elements are developed in-house and rigorously tested at every stage to ensure professional protection. The IP67 rating provides protection against dust and water and can withstand rain, snow, sandstorms and much more. The housing is extremely resistant to pressure and impact and remains intact even when subjected to strong external influences. Made of high-quality, modified polypropylene with flame retardant class V-2. Withstands extreme cold and heat and protects the equipment from -50°C to +80°C. Two "press-pull" closures ensure secure closure and prevent unintentional opening.

Padlocks can be attached to the stainless steel openings. The case has a watertight vent valve that automatically regulates the air pressure in the case. The empty weight is 2.77 kg. The handle is fully rubberised and therefore very comfortable. The Tortoise series has a stackable design so that several cases can be stacked stably for easy storage and transport. Despite its low weight, the T-230 has a very high load capacity and a large internal volume. The Gutek T-230 comes complete with padded dividers.

The dividers can be arranged and customised as required. The removable lid and base foams ensure good padding around the equipment and improve protection. An optional Motion Sensor LED light is available, which can be attached to the inside of the lid. This automatically illuminates the case when it is opened. The user can attach their contact details to the name tag supplied for easy identification.
