Only in the 4x zoom do others perform better. The optical zoom only helps from five times to a maximum of 30 times magnification. The quality is very good for a mobile phone!
Not only does it look like a new Pixel, it can also easily keep up with the 10 Pixel, even though it is around 300 euros cheaper. The successor is even faster and lasts a few minutes longer, but this is probably just as unnoticeable in everyday use as the lack of the 100x Pro-Res zoom. The photo quality is still probably the strongest selling point - but by no means the only one.
Computing and graphics power are not the strong points of the Pixel 9 Pro, on the contrary. The Tensor processor developed by Google is hopelessly inferior to the high-end chips from Apple, Mediatek and Samsung in benchmarks. Of course, the Pixel also runs quickly and smoothly in everyday use, but its lack of power is noticeable in some tasks, such as when image editing takes a little longer...
