Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 5 WiFi

The Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 5 WiFi is equipped with AMD's X470 chipset and optimized for use with the Ryzen CPUs of the 2000 series Pinnacle Ridge. This high-end chipset supports up to 64 GB of RAM with high achievable clock rates. Additionally, the X470 chipset is compatible with all the new features of the second-generation Ryzen processors and benefits from further optimizations, such as the new overclocking feature XFR2. The AM4 socket motherboard provides two M.2 slots with PCIe connectivity. M.2 SSDs connected via four PCI Express 3.0 lanes support data transfer rates of up to 32 Gbit/s in conjunction with the advanced NVM Express (NVMe) protocol, making them up to eight times faster than SATA 6G hard drives. One slot can also operate in SATA mode. On the I/O panel of the Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 5 WiFi, there is a USB 3.1 port with a Type-C connector. The innovative USB Type-C port is particularly slim and can be plugged in on either side. An additional USB 3.1 Type-A port, along with four USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports, are available for connecting more peripherals. A special feature is the integrated RGB Fusion lighting, which allows customizable RGB lighting effects across multiple lighting zones and can be controlled via software. For controlling and automatically synchronizing additional RGB lighting, the Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 5 WiFi has two headers for addressable RGB and one header for static RGB LEDs.
