The X-T30 II was tested with a more expensive zoom: This delivers great image quality and more light intensity - in the telephoto range it is one to one and a half stops faster than the competition, but costs a whopping 800 euros. The autofocus has a large number of measuring points, but is somewhat weaker when it comes to focus tracking. The newer sister model, the X-M5, does this much better.

The X-T30 Il is a relatively inexpensive entry into Fujifilm's well-developed X system - and still with attractive features. A better viewfinder and the advanced autofocus are only available in the newer cameras. The very fine gradations in Fujifilm's mid-range X-System make the choice difficult...
