FiiO FT7

The FiiO FT7 is a magnetostatic headphone that meets the highest audiophile standards. The 106 mm diaphragm is about 100 times thinner than a sheet of paper. It is made from layers of gold and silver and is driven on each side by 18 neodymium magnets. The arrangement and material provide agility and a pleasant, balanced sound. The good efficiency and low impedance allow the headphones to be used without limitations with portable amplifiers and players. To make the headphones as lightweight as possible, the headband construction is largely made of carbon fiber. The low weight positively affects wearing comfort. FiiO understands that headphones should not only sound good but also remain comfortable on the head during extended wear. The grill on the outside of the ear cups is made from African zebra wood. The shape and cutouts are precisely aligned with the position of the magnets to prevent reflections of sound waves. To customize the FT7 to your personal needs and preferences, two pairs of ear pads are included. The lambskin ear pads generate a clear, high-resolution sound with a wide soundstage. The suede ear pads are breathable and provide more atmosphere and stronger bass. The cable connects to the headphones on both sides with 3.5 mm plugs. It is 3 meters long and made of 6N OCC monocrystalline copper. To maximize conductivity, each strand is cryogenically treated at -192 degrees Celsius. The cable ends in a symmetrical 4.4 mm plug. Adapters for connecting to an amplifier with a 6.3 mm or 4-pin XLR are included.
