Pure Vintage '66 Jazz Bass® pickups are tuned to deliver the sound of the mid-1960s, an era that gave rise to a whole generation of classic bass tones. With its distinctive mid-range growl and wide dynamic range, the Jazz Bass® remains a favorite among musicians across various genres. The coil construction is designed in a vintage style, and the wires are fabric-wrapped. Each Fender® Pure Vintage pickup is wound to historical original specifications to reproduce the traditional Fender® tone. Enamel-coated magnet wire provides a warm vintage sound, while Alnico 5 magnets enhance focus and dynamics. Flush-mounted pole pieces ensure consistent string response. The pickups are wax potted and feature historically accurate fabric covering and vulcanized fiber coil construction. Mounting hardware is included.
