The Fantec SRC-TL-2680X07 is a robust hard drive enclosure designed to accommodate up to eight 3.5" or 2.5" SAS or SATA hard drives as well as SSDs. With a maximum transfer rate of 12G or 6G, it offers high data transfer performance suitable for demanding applications. The enclosure is designed in a 19-inch format with a depth of 680 mm, making it ideal for use in server racks. The pre-installed 12G SFF-8643 backplane allows for easy integration and use of the drives. The tool-free installation of the 3.5" hard drives onto the carrier ensures a quick and straightforward setup. Additionally, the enclosure provides space for two 2.5" SSDs under the front cover and is equipped with three fans to ensure effective cooling. The front LED indicators and the push-button switch allow for easy operation and monitoring of the system.
