Extralink 1-Port PoE Injector and Splitter The PoE injector and splitter set is an ideal solution when you need to power a device that does not support IEEE 802.3af or passive PoE, but requires power over a twisted-pair cable due to the device's location. In addition to power supply, simultaneous network communication at a speed of 100 Mbps is also possible. The set consists of an injector that feeds voltage into the Ethernet cable and a splitter that feeds voltage into the socket connection. The maximum input voltage is 48V DC. The PoE injector can be used to connect a surveillance system with IP cameras that do not support Power over Ethernet or to power wireless LAN access points. Using PoE injectors and splitters allows you to use non-PoE switches.
