Product details
The Ernie Ball 500k Stereo Volume Pedal is equipped with a 500k pot for the audio signals of both passive and active instruments. On the treadle, there is a switch that allows you to choose between the two operating modes: Volume or Pan. The 500k stereo pedal is extremely versatile and suitable for both stereo and mono applications. Stereo jack cables connect to outputs A and B, and when used as a typical pan pedal, the switch is engaged with the foot to the pan position, utilizing only input A. The pedal now pans the signal between outputs A and B.
All Ernie Ball volume pedals are designed for absolute roadworthiness. The enclosures made from machined aluminum are beyond doubt in terms of their stability. The pedal axles are made of stainless steel, so wear and tear, such as loosening, is not a concern. A robust rubber mat ensures that feet do not slip on the treadle. In addition to the high weight of the pedal, four rubber feet guarantee a secure stand on the ground. All pedals operate passively, so no batteries are required. The mechanical design is such that the pots are moved by a cable pull when the pedals are pressed down. Each pedal is moved a thousand times before delivery—now that’s what you call quality control! Thanks to the open enclosures and the plugged cable connections at the pot, the components are extremely service-friendly. To simplify handling, all the jacks are now located on the front side.
