The EHX Walking on the Moon celebrates the classic, unmistakable flanger sounds of Andy Summers and pays homage to the tones that Andy shaped his sound with during the early days of his collaboration with The Police. "This beautiful shimmer," which made the sound somehow bigger and more glamorous, became a kind of characteristic of my guitar sound. A large part of my guitar sound at that time with The Police was the flange sound that we now have in this great pedal." - Andy Summers.

The Andy Summers Walking on the Moon is an analog flanger with a simple yet powerful set of controls: Rate, Range, and Color.

Rate determines the speed of modulation, ranging from slow, gentle filter sweeps to shaky vibrato. Range adjusts how narrow or wide the effect extends into the bass range. The Color control determines the intensity of the flanger effect, from subtle chorus effects to classic jet woosh sounds. The interplay of these three controls allows for a wide spectrum of modulation effects.

Additionally, the Walking on the Moon features a Filter Matrix that decouples the LFO from the flanger circuit and freezes the flanger, creating a fixed filter effect that can add metallic overtones to your sound without the movement of a traditional modulation pedal. A DRY output allows you to separate your dry signal from the effect signal.
