The Sovtek MIG-50 had a well-deserved reputation for its rich and sweet overtones reminiscent of a tweed-look Fender Bassman. Our new Electro-Harmonix MIG-50 head is a faithful reissue of the original with modern enhancements specifically chosen to make it bulletproof. It is hand-assembled in our New York City factory using the highest quality components from around the world, so the build quality is top-notch.

  • 2 channels, each with its own volume control; channel 1 is normal, channel 2 is bright/high gain
  • Controls for treble, mid, bass, and presence
  • (2) Sovtek 5881WXT power tubes
  • (3) 12AX7 preamp tubes
  • External bias adjustment controls
  • 4, 8, or 16 Ohm speaker output
