The safety lock microswitch 409X is primarily used where a door must be secured with a 20 mm bolt for insurance reasons. The integrated monitoring contacts can also be used to query important locking states.

The mechanical automatic closing system with double locking is suitable for both DIN left-hand and DIN right-hand doors. It features a mechanical self-locking process control between the double locking and the control bolt. The lock is burglary-resistant thanks to a solid bolt with a 20 mm throw, achieving burglary resistance up to class 2 in suitable door systems.

It includes a panic function with approval according to EN 179 and EN 1125 and is suitable for fire protection doors. The lock is used with door fittings for entrance doors and has a switching function for unlocking with a key from the outside.

Monitoring functions are included, and the package contains a safety lock as well as an operating manual. The locks of the 409X model series have a continuous follow-up and therefore require door fittings (handle or panic push bar inside and knob or push bar outside). Integrated monitoring contacts allow for the provision of information about important locking states.
