Product details

Overdrive/Distortion Effect Pedal

The MXR Sugar Drive offers a wide range of clear and transparent overdrive sounds, from boost to tube-like distortion. It is based on a rare overdrive pedal that has gained a mythical reputation among tone hunters. It takes your clean signal and blends it with the overdrive effect as you turn up the drive knob, reproducing the smooth transition of an amplifier from clean to dirty. The integrated charge pump increases headroom, allowing the overall tone to bloom. With a simple three-knob setup and an MXR mini enclosure, this is the right overdrive for your pedalboard. It is versatile and space-saving, and unlike the original pedals it is based on, it won't cost you thousands of euros.
