The Subminiature Mesh from DPA is a specially designed windscreen for subminiature microphones in the 6000 series, which are often used as lavalier microphones. This product is ideal for broadcast and ENG situations, as it effectively reduces light wind noise as well as breath sounds from the mouth and nose. With a diameter of just 6.6 mm, the windscreen offers remarkable noise reduction of up to 20 dB, which corresponds to a reduction of 90%. The windscreen easily clicks onto the 6060 lavalier microphone, replacing the regular cap. Thanks to the exclusive matte PVD coating, the windscreen is not only durable but also scratch-resistant, enhancing its usability in demanding environments.
