The 4488 CORE directional headset delivers an open and natural sound, making it ideal for speech applications and vocal performances. It offers excellent off-axis rejection in high sound pressure level situations. It efficiently suppresses distant sound sources, making it perfect for demanding live performances where background noise and feedback are concerns. The bass response is designed for optimal linearity at a distance of 2-3 cm from the sound source, meaning that bass roll-off becomes quite pronounced at greater distances. This is a crucial factor in suppressing background noise and avoiding feedback.
