Smartphone, camera, camcorder: who shoots the best videos? We tested camcorders and compared them with other devices for filming. The results are surprising. Camcorders used to be the first choice for shooting private videos. Now they have strong competition, for example from smartphones...
The double action cube records a maximum of 4K video and only stabilises up to 2.7K. The new GoPro offers more. Instead, the DJI convinces with natural colour reproduction. It does a good job in Full HD - and that's certainly enough for social media.
The small, light and unobtrusive metal cube reinvents the action cam to a certain extent: the modular system has a high-quality feel and is clever, because the right accessories can be attached depending on the area of use. Video quality and image stabilisation are also pleasing. 4K recordings look sharp, natural and not blurred - a fine alternative to GoPro.
The Action 2 is instant fun. It's extremely stable, delivers high-quality images and all the magnetic connections are so strong that you can probably capture any activity. Only a compact bag for the small accessories would be valuable.
