IC socket for PLCC (chip carrier)

Designed for housing shapes of the EIA/JEDEC Type A standard. Features drain holes for better internal cleaning. A cover for chip retention is not necessary, which allows for improved heat dissipation. Molded test holes next to each contact spring provide easier access for testing purposes. Dual polarity indicators ensure the correct alignment of the chip carrier.
