And applying the protective films couldn't be easier, as Displex has found a special twist with the Easy-On system: First, the protective film is aligned with the device. Then, the two fixing strips are securely adhered on the sides. Now, the fixing strips act as hinges: the film is folded away from the strips. Only then is the carrier film removed from the adhesive surface, and the protective film is folded back onto the display. This way, nothing sticks where it shouldn't!
