Product details

The Pixy2 CMUcam5 image sensor from DFRobot is an advanced development board and kit specifically designed for robotics. This compact camera is not only smaller and faster than its predecessor but also offers enhanced object recognition features. With the ability to learn objects by simply pressing a button, the Pixy2 enables user-friendly programming. The new algorithms for line tracking and intersection as well as traffic sign detection significantly expand the capabilities for line-following robots. With an image processing rate of 60 frames per second, the Pixy2 ensures smooth controls and reactions. Easy integration with various microcontrollers, including Arduino and Raspberry Pi, is supported by the included cables and software libraries, greatly simplifying setup and programming.

  • Advanced algorithms for line tracking and traffic sign detection
  • Processes 60 frames per second for smooth controls
  • Easy integration via SPI, I2C, UART, and USB
  • Included software libraries for quick programming
  • Compact design with a lightweight of only 10 grams.
