Product details

This laser distance sensor can be used to detect objects within a range of 4 to 400 cm with an accuracy of ±2 cm. With three different measurement modes, it is well-suited for various detection scenarios such as security gate detection, access control systems, security alarm systems, smart trash cans, smart cars, or robots for obstacle avoidance. The black metal housing of the sensor is equipped with a threaded pipe, and the probe features an optical cover. Thanks to its integrated design, the product is capable of effectively filtering optical interferences and is both waterproof and shock-resistant. The sensor uses an invisible laser and has a voltage regulator inside the module. It is characterized by stable performance and a UART output, and it includes an alarm output line that is triggered when the measured distance is less than the threshold set by the user.

Note: When measuring black objects, unstable readings may occur.
