The DFRobot Gravity SFA40 Formaldehyde Sensor is a high-precision measuring device specifically designed for the detection of formaldehyde (HCHO). Based on the Sensirion SFA40 sensor, this module offers outstanding accuracy with a measurement range of 0 to 1000 ppb and a detection limit of 20 ppb. A key feature of the SFA40 is its extremely low cross-sensitivity, ensuring that the sensor does not respond to ethanol or other substances such as perfumes and citrus oils. This makes it particularly reliable for applications in air quality monitoring. The integrated Sensirion SHT4x sensor allows for automatic temperature and humidity compensation, further enhancing measurement accuracy. With a compact design of 32 x 22 mm, the sensor is ideal for integration into portable measuring devices and air quality stations. Please note that the sensor requires a warm-up time of 5 minutes after being powered on to provide accurate readings.
