Product details

This is a simple FTDI breakout board from DFRobot featuring the FT23RL chip, which enables USB to serial communication. This board allows for the programming of a microcontroller that does not have this chip, such as the Arduino ProMini or ESP8266. A jumper can be used to switch between 3.3V or 5V. On this board, the DTR pin is brought out instead of the RTS pin, allowing the microcontroller to automatically reset after uploading a program. This board also features TX and RX LEDs to visualize the serial data traffic and verify that the board is functioning.

Features:

  • Switchable between 3.3V or 5V with jumper
  • Micro USB
  • RX and TX LEDs
