DFRobot 5V electromagnet 8Kg holding force

This is an electromagnet with an 8 kg holding force and a power of 1.5 W. The magnetic poles of the electromagnet can be changed by swapping the negative and positive poles. The holding force does not indicate how much weight it can bear. Divide the holding force by 5-10 to get a rough estimate of how heavy an object it can attract and hold. In this case, that would be a maximum of about 1.6 kg. Note that the holding weight also depends on a flat surface and the maximum surface contact, as well as the ferromagnetic metal content. The electromagnet can withstand long-term electrification when attracted to the surface of an object. However, it should not be electrified for a long time if there is nothing to attract.
