The Denon AVC-X3800H is clearly intended for large home cinemas, especially if a second listening zone is to be played at the same time. The very differentiated bass management can also be a real problem solver for some cineastes, and the price for what is offered seems almost moderate due to the enormous potential of the AV receiver.

For a home cinema installation that can get by with two Atmos channels, and in the long term with three video sources in 8K resolution, the AVR-X280011 is perfectly adequate. If you want DAB+ reception, add a few more euros for the AVR-X2800H DAB.
