With this Power over Ethernet injector from Delock, you can power a PoE-enabled device, such as an IP camera or a PoE splitter, via a network cable. The injector is placed between the network switch and the PoE endpoint (PD) and supplies the device with up to 30 watts of power and 10 Gbps Ethernet simultaneously. Its compact dimensions and integrated wall mounting allow for space-saving installation.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) enables compatible devices to be powered through the network cable. This particularly reduces cabling efforts for endpoints such as wireless access points, IP phones, and IP cameras, offering high flexibility in the placement of these devices.

The IEEE 802.3at standard provides a maximum of 25.4 watts of power on each PoE port with a voltage of up to 50 volts. The standard assumes that after line losses, 21.90 watts of usable power remain to avoid exceeding the maximum power output. For PoE, a Cat5e/6 cable with a maximum length of 100 m is recommended.
