Dell has transformed its award-winning XPS 13 notebook into a convertible. The original features, such as the almost borderless "InfinityEdge" display, have been supplemented with a great deal of flexibility in handling. Thanks to the 360° hinge and touch display, you can use the XPS 13 either as a normal laptop or as a tablet with the keyboard completely folded back. The display offers even more work surface thanks to its 16:10 aspect ratio and also supports high-precision input with active input pens, making it ideal for handwritten notes, sketches, and graphics applications. No compromises have been made in terms of workmanship: the housing is made of CNC-milled aluminium, and the palm rest is made of carbon fibre composite material. This handy quick-change artist weighs in at just 1.3 kg without sacrificing the necessary robustness.

The Thunderbolt 3 connector is the rapid all-rounder among the peripheral interfaces. It is identical in form factor to the current USB Type C connector and is therefore easily compatible with USB Type C devices. However, its speed leaves other peripheral ports far behind: 83 times faster than USB 2.0, 8 times faster than USB 3.0, and twice as fast as Thunderbolt 2, allowing you to connect a wide range of peripherals in series, as well as the most hardware-hungry extensions, from external graphics cards to 4K monitors.
