The Fieldbus Converter FBC9080 equips all PowerScan 9xxx models as well as any other devices with a standard RS232 interface with fieldbus connectivity. With an IP65 protection rating and round M12 connectors, it is the ideal solution for demanding industrial Ethernet applications. Thanks to the integrated dual-port switch, no additional switches are required. The FBC9080-N100 integrates scanners into control systems via PROFINET/IO, while the FBC9080-N200 establishes the connection through EtherNet/IP IO. Both models are also equipped with a standard Ethernet TCP/IP socket data interface, which enables bidirectional point-to-point communication with the scanner. The configuration of the fieldbus converters is easily done using the Datalogic software tool Aladdin.
