Equipped with 64-layer 3D NAND memory, the SSD promises higher durability and enhanced performance. The Silicon Motion (SM2258) controller used, featuring four memory channels, is well-known and is found in many mainstream SSDs. Additionally, integrated hardware encryption ensures the protection of your data. To boost performance, the SSD is equipped with an SLC cache. Thanks to this dynamic write acceleration, faster storage operations and file transfers are enabled, ultimately benefiting your entire system. The Crucial MX500 is equipped with hardware-based encryption. With support for AES-256, TCG Opal 2.0, and Microsoft eDrive, you can rest easy knowing that your data is always protected.
