Creality Filament
TPU, 1.75 mm, 1000 g, BluePrint material
Product details
High-quality TPU filament for 3D printers. Flexible thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) filament with high resistance to weather and wear. Printing temperature: 210 - 240 °C, diameter: 1.75 mm, weight: 1 kg. An excellent choice for shoe models, phone cases, bracelets, insulation, tires, and more. The extreme flexibility allows for complex shapes. Compatible with all Creality FDM 3D printers. Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) filaments are comparable to rubber due to their extreme flexibility, making them an interesting and relatively new printing material for 3D printing. TPU is highly deformable and has good thermal properties as well as high shape stability up to a temperature of about 95 °C. Additionally, TPU filaments are resistant to a variety of oils and fats, as well as weather and UV influences, making them popular for various applications, such as shoe models, phone cases, bracelets, insulation, or surfaces in automotive interiors. The hardness level varies depending on the raw material and falls within a wide range of Shore hardness. However, some experience in 3D printing is required when printing TPU filaments, as they are not as easy to handle due to their flexibility. It is advisable to first print a test object and adjust the retraction and associated stringing to a satisfactory level. After that, one can start with the actual object, choosing a slower printing speed (15-30 mm/s).
