The BlueOptics BO28L859S1D QSFP28 transceiver from CBO is a high-performance solution for short-range multimode applications in the realm of 100 Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel. With a transmission rate of up to 103.125 Gigabits per second (4x25G), this transceiver is ideal for demanding network environments. It utilises the 100GBASE-SR4 technology, which is defined by the IEEE 802.3bm standard, enabling efficient data transmission over distances of up to 100 metres. The transceiver is equipped with an MPO/MTP connector, allowing for easy integration into existing network infrastructures. It is particularly well-suited for connecting Ethernet switches and supports both trunk and breakout cable configurations. Weighing only 0.04 kilograms, it is also lightweight and compact, making installation and maintenance easier.
