The Planet MGB-SX compatible BlueOptics SFP BO05C856S5D is a high-performance 1000Base-SX SFP transceiver designed for the transmission of optical signals over multimode fiber. With an LC duplex connector, this transceiver meets MSA standards and provides both receive and transmit functions at a wavelength of 850 nm. It is ideal for use in a variety of hardware platforms, including switches, routers, storage systems, and load balancers. The transceiver supports high-speed applications such as Ethernet and Fibre Channel over Ethernet with a maximum transmission rate of 1.25 Gbit/s and a range of up to 550 meters. To ensure optimal performance and compatibility, each transceiver is tested and software-configured before delivery to ensure seamless operation with the respective Planet hardware.
