The Cachet Steel Tongue Drum can be played with the included mallets, finger sticks, or simply with the fingers. In all cases, it produces a pleasantly clear, bell-like sound. When played with the fingers, the fundamental tone becomes somewhat warmer and more organic; when played with mallets, it results in a slightly louder and more static sound. The steel tongues resonate clearly, loudly, and very cleanly thanks to precise laser cutting technology, without generating unpleasant interference frequencies.

The tongue drum features an elegantly matte and scratch-resistant coating, providing a very pleasant tactile experience and precise playing feel. Due to the extremely precisely cut steel tongues, the fundamental tone is pleasantly assertive without compromising the meditative character.
