Product details

Simply plug-and-play for hard drive enclosures, printers, modems, cameras, and other SuperSpeed USB devices. This cable offers a transfer rate of up to 4.8 Gbps when connected to a USB 3.0 compliant host and device. Foil and braid shielding reduces EMI/RFI interference, and the twisted pair structure helps to minimize crosstalk, ensuring error-free data transmission in SuperSpeed. The protective molded connector is blue-coded to highlight compatibility with USB 3.0.

Please note: USB 3.0 (4.8 Gbps) offers ten times the capacity of USB 2.0 (480 Mbps); it also delivers up to 900 mA of power instead of the 500 mA available with USB 2.0. Type A connections are backward compatible with USB 2.0 and even USB 1.1. Finally, USB 2.0 cables will work with USB 3.0 devices (at the lower transfer speed and power of USB 2.0), but you will not enjoy the SuperSpeed of USB 3.0 without using USB 3.0 cables.
