It is a new series of 2-way solenoid valves designed as normally closed contacts from Burkert. Made of brass, it is suitable for use with water and inert liquids and gases. A soft mechanical coupling between the main piston and the pilot armature assists soft actuation, while the precision-engineered main housing path contributes to quiet, water hammer-free operation. It is suitable for a wide range of applications including compressed air and vacuum systems, heating and air conditioning, water treatment, and swimming pool technology. Its compact size simplifies installation in confined spaces. The operating pressure ranges from 0 to 10 bar with a response time of 0.1 to 4 seconds. It opens without differential pressure, requiring a minimum pressure differential of 0.5 bar for full opening, and features a high flow rate. The sealed coil has a protection class of IP65.
