The PX-1 is designed for users seeking a completely new sound experience. It includes eight pre-installed effects and provides access to eight additional effects through the free BOSS Effect Loader app for smartphones. The range spans from rarities to classics and features a continuously growing library of modern algorithms based on decades of BOSS innovation.

The accompanying smartphone app for the PX-1 – BOSS Effect Loader – offers access to an expanding download library of paid effects. Users can install up to 16 effects on the PX-1 – eight factory-installed effects and eight additional effects via the app. In the future, even more effects can be added by purchasing a Model Pass within the app.
