This fully wireless guitar amplifier with BOSS technology delivers powerful sounds with ultra-low latency. It features a wireless custom transmitter that can be used with any electric guitar. Automatic charging occurs through the docking station in the amplifier. The transmitter has a runtime of 12 hours on a single charge. Thanks to the motion sensor technology in the transmitter, the amplifier is always ready to play and wakes up instantly from its energy-saving sleep mode. It offers six internal memory slots for custom amplifier and effect setups. Wireless editing and managing of sounds and effects is possible through the free BOSS Tone Studio app for mobile iOS and Android devices. The amplifier can be powered by eight AA batteries or via the included AC adapter.

It includes an AUX input for connecting wired devices and a headphone/recording output for silent practice and music production applications.

The Katana-Air is based on BOSS's digital wireless guitar technology, which enables particularly low latencies, transparent sound, and ultra-fast response without delays or dropouts. The included wireless custom transmitter fits into any electric guitar jack and has indicators for on/off status and battery power. With the convenient built-in docking port, the wireless transmitter's batteries can be charged directly at the amplifier. When fully charged, the transmitter allows for continuous playtime of up to 12 hours.
