The Boss GKC-AD is an analog-to-digital converter specifically designed to convert signals from analog 13-pin GK pickup systems into digital signals for the Serial GK interface. It allows for the transmission of traditional guitar and bass pickup sounds from the 13-pin signal.

Compatible with the Boss GM-800, the GKC-AD features the following connections: GK IN, GK OUT, and 6.35 mm jack. The device is equipped with non-slip rubber feet and a sturdy metal housing. Its dimensions are 115 x 92 x 36 mm, and it weighs 340 g.

The GKC-AD operates with a power supply and has a Serial GK output, to which devices like the Boss GM-800 guitar synthesizer can be connected. A guitar output allows for connection to an amplifier or PA system. A GK-3 or GK-3B, mounted on the guitar or bass (not included), can be connected to the 13-pin GK input.
