The BOSS FV-50 L differs from its bigger brother, the FV 300, mainly by its smaller plastic housing. Otherwise, it performs all the functions: thanks to its dual inputs and outputs, it can easily handle stereo keyboards. The minimum control knob effectively provides a volume preset, and the FV 50 L also works excellently as an expression pedal. Its low-impedance design makes it appealing for guitarists who want to control the master volume with a pedal in the effects loop. Regular guitar volume pedals do not function properly in this scenario, but the FV 50 L excels at this task! The tuner out is also very practical; it allows for silent tuning with a connected tuner.
