This transceiver is suitable for use in all common hardware platforms that officially support the original Extreme Networks 10GBASE-SR-XFP 10GBASE-SR LC Duplex XFP. Each Extreme Networks 10GBASE-SR-XFP compatible 10GBASE-SR LC Duplex XFP supports Ethernet, Fibre Channel over Ethernet, or SDH/SONET high-speed applications of up to 10 G per second.
