This is a shiny black nickel-plated adapter designed to extend connections in water cooling systems. The adapter serves as a coupling to connect two hose pieces that do not run along a common line. Two rubber rings on each side ensure a tight seal.

Additionally, the multi-link connections are compatible with Bitspower's Crystal Link Tubes.
