Product details

Tuned instruments, including metallophones, xylophones, and glockenspiels, can already be played by preschool children. They are therefore excellent for early musical education, in music classes in kindergartens and schools, as well as in music schools. The metallophones are equipped with aluminum sound bars that are 8 mm thick and 40 mm wide. Thanks to the thick bars, each strike produces a warm sound. The sustain of a metallophone is noticeably longer than that of other bar instruments, such as xylophones or glockenspiels. To shorten the sustain, metallophones are equipped with a damping mechanism. The large aluminum sound bars of this metallophone produce nine semitones (C#1, D#1, F#1, G#1, B1, C#2, D#2, F#2, G#2) and can therefore be used as a chromatic addition. The switchable damping mechanism allows you to control the sustain; when the damping is activated, it is reduced by about half. The resonance box made of maple wood is divided into different chambers according to the pitch of the corresponding sound bars. Alto metallophone as a chromatic addition with 9 semitones, sound bars made of 8 mm thick aluminum, resonance body made of maple wood, and a switchable damping mechanism. An ideal instrument for early musical education in kindergartens and schools.
