Schnelllader. 15 Minuten am Strom bringen Bestwert von über sechs Stunden Betriebszeit. Schaltet sich bei Nichtgebrauch auch nach 30 Minuten nicht automatisch ab. Zeitgleiche Verbindung mit zwei Geräten nur über Apples iCloud und nur bei iPhones oder iPads mit aktuellem Betriebssystem möglich. Wenig Einstellmöglichkeiten, da keine Steuerungsapp. Dämpft und klingt gut. Ohrpolster nicht wechselbar.

Gegenüber früheren Modellen hat Beats das Noise-Cancelling verbessert, so wirksam wie bei Bose und Sony ist es aber nicht. Praktisch ist die Schnellladefunktion: In 10 Minuten tankt der Beats für 3 Stunden Betrieb auf.
